"It is my pleasure to write this letter in support of Nick De Marco. I am the Founder and Creative Director of contemporary accessories brand Botkier.
I have known and worked with Nick for over three years and can say that he is a kind, personable and talented entrepreneur who has achieved success in a variety of business ventures. He has been very helpful to me in the sales and operations of the company as well as in M&A helping to secure the recent acquisition of Botkier to a strong strategic partner.
As an entrepreneur and creative businesswoman myself I am fully aware of the importance of finding the right team to build your business. Nick has all the qualities that would make him an asset to any company. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him as a strong executive in the fashion world. His knowledge of product, customer relationships and best practices is a blessing to our industry."
"Over the past 25 years I've worked together with Nick on a wide variety of business opportunities and finance transactions, including start-ups, mergers, sell mandates, acquisitions, turn-arounds, recapitalizations and consulting assignments, principally in fashion, apparel and related accessories and consumer products. Nick's experience, leadership style, industry and market reputation and integrity have resulted in a remarkable track-record of success. Nick has led management teams of both exchange listed market leaders to greater successes, and smaller companies struggling to survive in navigating difficult financial issues, with equal calm and results oriented operating style. His brand resume includes names such as Pierre Cardin, Halston and Nautilus, and very recently Botkier, where without his personal investment, operating experience and credibility with lenders and customers, the up-market handbag company could not have accomplished its turnaround and eventual sale. I'm looking forward to working with Nick on his next project!"
